Guitar with Don Nea
September kicked off with another series of beginners’ guitar classes led by renowned local musician Don Nea. Parents who have never held a guitar before mix with parents who started but gave up years ago and want to try again. The Parent’s Room rocks every Tuesday morning to sounds such as Dire Straits and Paulo Nutini with a little bit of everything else thrown in!
Many thanks to Don Nea and to the parents brave enough to follow their dreams.

The Parent’s Room Dancercise classes have been a huge success. Over 20 moms put their names down and we now have a waiting list in operation. Brenda Malone, our Dancercise tutor, was full of enthusiasm and got the gang going. There was a lot of laughter and smiling red faces at the end with everyone saying how glad they were they had come. Keep an eye out for all new Parent’s Room classes as they book out fast and we can only take those who are booked in. Rock on ladies you’ll be fit as fiddles by Christmas!!!

Parent’s Room ‘Welcome Back’ Coffee Morning!
We had a very successful turn out for our first coffee morning of the year in the Parent’s Room. People said they could hear the noise of people chatting and laughing loudly as far down as the car parks. In fact one new parent said she didn’t know where the Parent’s Room was but she just followed the noise! Sincere thanks to every parent who joined us on that day. We got loads of great ideas for courses from everyone and some new parents swapped phone numbers which is what the Parent’s Room is all about. If you missed this one make sure you don’t miss the next one.
Together we are building our school community.
