Swimming lessons rooms 5 & 6
Swimming lessons started on Wednesday 29th January, 2014 for Rm 5 and 6. These lessons comprise part of the 1st Class P.E. programme. They are held in Naas swimming pool under a qualified swimming instructor.
Please ensure your child can dress themselves in under 15 minutes
Remember the following items each Wednesday:
- Swimming costume
- Swimming armbands
- Swimming cap (Note: This is essential – No cap no swim!).
- A towel
- A change of underwear.
Swimming lessons, including instructor’s fees, hire of pool and transport will cost €8.00 every Wednesday. A single fee of €70.00 can also be paid. Each child will attend every Wednesday for nine weeks in total.
Please also ensure that your child’s name is written of every piece of clothing they will have with them.
St. Brigid’s Crosses Room 12
We made St. Brigid’s Crosses in class today. All week, the children have been learning about the story of Brigid, her cloak and her cross. Ask the children about it! St. Brigid’s Crosses are a lovely tradition and they are supposed to keep your house safe.
